Ultramarine 1 Flash is an agentic model from Paper Instruments built for professional knowledge work across finance, law, consulting, and operations. Based on GLM-5.3 Flash, it uses large-scale reinforcement learning on open-ended tasks evaluated with task-specific rubrics.

Its training spans 19 professional practice areas and 88 environment types, including document-heavy workflows and interactions with business systems. When paired with an agent harness, tools, and a code-execution environment, it can support workflows that produce Excel workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, and Word documents.
