Sameer is a former founder who spent the last nine years as a VP of Engineering at Databricks. He joined when Databricks was smaller than Baseten’s current size and helped scale it into a category-defining company. He brings a rare mix of founder mentality, deep technical acumen, GTM instincts, and experience building exceptional engineering teams.
Sameer has seen what works, what does not, and has already proven to be an incredible thought partner. After speaking with hundreds of candidates, we are thrilled we found the right person.
